HDFC Swiggy Card
HDFC · Entry · MC
The ultimate card for Swiggy addicts — 10% cashback is unmatched, but the cap limits who should get it.
10% cashback on Swiggy is the highest food delivery reward rate on any Indian credit card. If you order Swiggy regularly, no other card comes close. The card also gives 5% on online shopping, entertainment, and apparel — making it a strong contender for the online lifestyle segment.
But there's a hard ceiling: ₹1,500/month total cashback cap across all accelerated categories combined. At 10% on Swiggy, that's maxed out at ₹15,000 in Swiggy orders. If you also shop online (5%), the cap is eaten even faster. The ₹100 minimum transaction requirement also means your ₹80 chai orders earn nothing.
Regular Swiggy users spending ₹5,000-15,000/month on food delivery. At ₹10K/month Swiggy spend, you're earning ₹1,000/month — ₹12,000/year from a card with a ₹500 fee.
You use Zomato more than Swiggy (this card doesn't give 10% on Zomato), or your food delivery spend is under ₹3,000/month. HDFC Millennia's 5% on both Swiggy AND Zomato is more versatile.
Reward Rates by Category
The ₹1,500/month cashback cap is shared across ALL accelerated categories — Swiggy (10%), online shopping (5%), entertainment (5%), and apparel (5%). Not ₹1,500 per category. Combined.
At 10% on Swiggy alone, you hit the cap at ₹15,000/month in orders. But if you also shop online, the cap fills faster. Example: ₹10,000 Swiggy (₹1,000 cashback) + ₹10,000 online shopping (₹500 cashback) = ₹1,500 cap reached. Everything after that earns 1%.
Minimum transaction: ₹100. Orders below ₹100 earn zero cashback. This matters for quick snack or chai orders.
