✅ Data verified March 2026

A decent starter card for online shoppers, but outclassed by newer options in 2026.

SBI SimplyCLICK was one of the first cards to offer meaningful online rewards in India. 2.5% on 9 partner brands and 1.25% on all online purchases still sounds reasonable. But the landscape has changed — HDFC Millennia gives 5% on partners, Amazon Pay ICICI gives 5% on Amazon, and Axis ACE gives 1.5% uncapped everywhere.

The card's main remaining advantage is its low ₹499 fee (waivable at ₹1L) and SBI's wide acceptance. For SBI customers who want a simple online rewards card without switching banks, it works. For everyone else, there are better options.

✦ Ideal for

Existing SBI customers who want a low-fee online rewards card and regularly shop on partners like Cleartrip, Myntra, or BookMyShow. Good starter card for building credit history with SBI.

✦ Skip if

You want the best online rewards available. At 1.25% online and 0.25% offline, this card is significantly behind HDFC Millennia (5% on partners) and Axis ACE (1.5% uncapped).
